Dr. Palmer is a champion lifetime natural bodybuilder. He has won 30 first place titles including the 1996 Forever Natural Championships, the 1996 United States Natural Championships, and his division at the 1996 Natural Universe. He uses his good fortunes in the bodybuilding arena to volunteer his time in the community, educating young people about the dangers of using drugs and promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

Dr. Palmer was elected to the Board of Directors of New Way School. New Way School is a K through grade 12 school for children with learning challenges. He also is a founding board member of Youth Explosion Superstars - (Y.E.S.). Y.E.S. is an organization dedicated to bringing superstar athletes together with inner city and underprivileged youth, offering them confidence, encouragement, love and support in building their self esteem.

Dr. Palmer serves on the committee for the Annual Randy Johnson Invitational Golf Tournament which raises money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Palmer Center for Natural Healing partners with several local and national charities donating goods and services for numerous charity events throughout the Valley of the Sun annually.
